News Servers
alt.net This place is the king of news-servers, for five(5) dollars a month you get 20k+ newsgroups and unlimited access to all of them. Another goodie is that they just switched to a new, fas ter.
Ftp alt.net You can ftp to alt.net and get a list of all the newsgroups.
net-link Haven't tried net-link out yet, I heard you get a trial period of a month or so. Might be the place if you're not sure about this stuff.
news.zippo.com One of many public news-servers, I'm not even sure if this one still exists.
news.sisna.com Same as with Zippo.
There are a lot of other public news servers, they are all pretty slow and unreliable.
